Dear Parents,
Assalamualaikum Wr. Wbr.
We hope this reaches you in the best of health and Iman, insha Allah. Please read through this entire announcement.
We will be starting Face-to-Face lessons for all classes this weekend on 13th/14th January. All classes will be conducted at Al-Khair Mosque. Insha Allah.
Saturday classes start on 13th Jan.
Sunday classes start on 14th Jan.
Please see the table below and report accordingly to the designated place.
If you do not know your child’s class information, click here.
Do take note of the following Safety Management Measures:
Only students who are feeling well shall report for lessons. Students are required to take their temperature and must only report if their temperature is 37.5 degrees Celsuis and below. If they are having flu-like symptoms such as runny nose, cough and breathlessness, they are advised to stay at home and seek medical attention.
If your child is sick and is unable to attend madrasah lessons at Al-Khair, kindly apply for leave immediately and state the reason for applying leave.
As there are no cafe/canteen operations at the mosque, students are advised to have their meals before attending madrasah. Students of Class 1 to 8, are encouraged to bring some healthy snacks to be consumed during snack time.
For classes 9 to 14, we will Insya Allah provide dinner. They are advised to bring water/drinks for themselves.
Solat will be incorporated into lessons gradually for Class 1 to 4 in the year. Students from Class 5 to 8 will be praying in the classrooms for Term 1 and gradually join in with the mosque congregation for the Asar Solat sessions. All students from Class 9 to 14 will join the mosque congregation for Maghrib and Ishak, Insha Allah from 1st Day of madrasah onwards.
Students are advised to bring their own prayer garments and mats.
Students of Class 1 to 8 are required to bring a shoe bag / big ziploc bag to keep their footwear and bring it along with them to the classrooms. We do not want the Dismissal Area to be congested with students searching for their footwear at the shoe racks placed at the side of the mosque.
All parents who are fetching their children are requested to be punctual to pick up their children and maintain social distancing at all times.

Donations for Student Dinner
We are now having our older students’ classes at a new time-slot from this year onwards. Our older girls’ classes are on Saturdays and our older boys’ classes are on Sundays from 5pm to 8.30pm.
These students will be in Al-Khair for their lessons and will perform their Maghrib and Ishak prayers with the congregation. As the classes end late, we plan to provide them with dinner every week, Insha Allah.
Alhamdulillah, we have 220 older students and 20 teachers in total who will be in the masjid on weekend nights.
We seek your kind and generous contribution to this blessed act of providing food for those seeking Islamic knowledge in the House of Allah.
We have 31 lessons for 2024. We are hoping to cater a meal for $6/- for each person.
Cost of Dinner per weekend:
240 x $6 = $1,440
Total cost for 31 weekends:
31 x $1.440 = $46,640
